When I first saw this house and the front hall with the dog, I thought is was going to be your average centre hall-ish Forest Hill house full of furniture bought at The Art Shoppe.
While some of the furniture might be from The Art Shoppe (just guessing), this isn't a typical house.
A big addition was added at the back with a huge atrium at some point and the whole house was renovated in the last 2 years.
It was listed 3 years ago for $3,850,000 and has been redone. This is what the front hall used to look like...
That is what I thought it was going to look like now but it has been redone.
Now, it's terrific though not very private with all those windows.
It is 5+1 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 6,600 square foot house on a 63.75 x 175 lot.
And the price is $6,200,000.
That is only $202,000 more than the house at 190 Forest Hill that was originally listed at $6,495,000 before it dropped to $5,998,000. I thought that house was too high.
Seeing this house kind of makes the price of 190 Forest Hill seem WAY too high.
If I had that much money to spend on a house, this one would definitely be it. I like the mix of old and new and I love those wrought iron doors. I would like it if the kitchen stools stayed and that table and chairs and the pendants in the kitchen and breakfast area....
