112 Balmoral Avenue - YONGE and ST. CLAIR
This house has 3+1 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a basement apartment, 2 parking spots and has been renovated top to bottom.
It is has a fireplace in the kitchen but I don't like that you can't really see it when you are actually in the kitchen part. I am really not sure what my feeling is about that room. At first I love it but then I don't. I can't put my finger on it. Is it an old painted kitchen that got new countertops, appliances and a fireplace? I can't figure it out. Maybe it's the guy in the mirrored backspash. No, it's the layout. But I can't figure out how to fix it.
The second floor cable situation is making me a bit crazy. If you spent all that money on the trim on the first floor, you could have hired a carpenter or electrician to deal with those wires under the tv or bought a tv table. Or do something about it for the pictures!
The lone portrait of the woman in one of the bedrooms is a bit odd.
And this 'park' is kind of weird.
The price is $1,495,000.
I feel like it is more of a $1,375,000 house. Maybe $1,425,000. It's the laneway to the side of the house.
And the kitchen. I am still not sure what it is...
Here is part of the description of the house from when it was listed back in 2008 for $995,000...
'Chic Renovated Home On Fabulous Mid Town Street! Open & Spacious, Charming Front Porch & Serene Patio Garden With Awning At Rear. Front Pad Parking. Limestone Foyer. Designer Eat-In Kitchen With Fireplace. Master Bedroom With Sitting Rm & Fireplace.'
Doesn't sound much different, does it?
The bathrooms were redone, including making the 'sitting room' into another bathroom, the kitchen was repainted with new countertop....maybe the basement apartment was added. That's it. And exclude the washer and dryer!?! That's annoying.
$1,375,000.
