178 Morse Street - LESLIEVILLE
This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom detached house in Leslieville is literally steps to Queen Street.
It looks like the front porch has been recently painted as well as the window trim but what happened to the third floor window? They forgot that. Did they leave it so it would match the white flashing? Here is what the house used to look like...
See what I mean with white trim? Or white, burgundy and yellow in this case. It looks so much better painted.
(Speaking of yellow, WHAT is going on with the neighbour's house!?!)
A lot of the old features have remained like the fireplace, doors and stained glass. I don't know if it is the pictures but the first floor seems really dark. The kitchen isn't huge but it is bright.
That backyard is pretty great and the listing has about 10 pictures to prove it.
There aren't a lot of pictures of the interior. The main bedroom is not huge. It looks like only a queen can fit in there which is a problem but the bathroom is large.
The third floor isn't large either but it is nice. It's what the third floor of the bright house at 78 Caroline could be with a little more furniture.
This house is priced at $899,000. It isn't huge and 2 of the 4 bedrooms are those little things on the top floor. It is detached, has a 2 car garage, the main bathroom is huge and the yard is great.
Considering that I thought the place at 75 McGee a few streets over could sell for $795,000 (not $1,250,000 like it was listed at!), I think this house could easily sell for asking. Maybe even $950,000. The fancy parent furniture really dresses up the place.
Too bad about the king bed situation though.
