197 Major Street - SOUTH ANNEX (UPDATE)
This is a recently renovated 4+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom row house in South Annex. It is steps to Harbord.
I love the floors. They are good on the first floor and the second floor.
The layout reminds me of the house at 298 Berkeley in Moss Park that sold for $1,050,000.
That house was detached. This house is a row house and is listed at $999,000.
The upstairs is in much better shape than the Moss Park house. There are built ins and the bathroom is new. Plus, there are 4 bedrooms! The yard isn't the best but there is one parking spot and the location is good if you are into downtown.
The kitchen is great (other than the horrible placement of the cook top) but I would prefer it in white.
What is going on with all the curtains in the house?
I think this house will sell for closer to $1,085,000.
PS. I love the couch in the bedroom.
UPDATE: thanks to the commentors below for pointing out that, "
There is water in the basement, the front windows are all single pane and the frames are in bad shape, the kitchen is old as per the comments above, and I think I recall that there is only one bathroom upstairs.".
That's no good.
The commentor also pointed out that this house has been on the market for several weeks.
I guess I was blinded by those floors, which I admit are a little too shiny...but I still love them.
So, what do you think? How much will this house sell for?
What will this house sell for?
