mishMASH Monday

6261 Taylor Drive - WEST VANCOUVER

This 2,352 square foot mid-century 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in West Vancouver sits on a 1/2 acre property with 100 feet of shoreline.

It might not be the 5 acre island where designer Martha Sturdy has a house but I feel like this place has potential to have a similar feel.

Here is a shot of her living room from the current June 2012 issue of Canadian House and Home...

And here is another shot of her living room and one of her dining room from the February 2011 Architectural Digest...

It also reminds me a bit of the Salt Spring Island house that was being sold half way through a restoration...

But it reminds me more of this mid-century home at 78 Leggett Avenue in Humber Heights, Toronto.

All the houses need a LOT of work but clearly because of the West Vancouver location, this one is just a tad more expensive than the others at $3,988,000.

Crazy expensive but kind of worth if for the views and a unique house!

PS.  There is a floorplan!  I love floorplans!
