PRICE DROP? - 154 Rhodes Avenue - LESLIEVILLE
This Leslieville new build that I posted almost 2 weeks ago is still on the market.
It was featured in the Globe and Mail Architecture section where they stated that it would be listed at $800,000. They later made an edit saying it was listed at $699,000 but the architects actually wanted $800,000.
They took offers on the Tuesday. Nothing. Two more offers on the Thursday. Nothing....They then raised the price on the Friday to $825,000.
Well, today, it was posted as the Toronto Life House of the Week and the listing price stated in the article is $799,000. The Realtor.ca price still says $825,000 but the site for the house states it as listed at $799,000. I am not sure what it is listed for on MLS.
This is all a bit of a mess which is unfortunate because it is a good new build. Not everyone's favourite style but you can't deny it is a pretty good new build though small.
So, what is the current price? I guess it is listed at $799,000? Does it really matter at this point? Just bid whatever you feel like bidding and they will accept it or they won't.
But I get the feeling that if it isn't $799,000 + $100, it will be turned down.
It should sell for $730,000.
