Since I was in Montreal this past weekend celebrating a birthday (hence the limited posts at the end of last week, my apologies!), I thought I would post a house from a neighbourhood where I went for dinner.
The restaurant itself was good and besides the atmosphere, the thing I liked the most about it was the 10pm menu. It is available from 10pm - 12am and offers an appetizer and entree for basically the cost of an entree from the regular menu. The place was thinning out around 10 but by 10:30pm, it was packed again!! Toronto needs more of this!
The neighbourhood was Outremont which I have never been to before. It is just west of the St-Laurent and St-Denis party areas but is a lot quieter. And definitely not as nuts as Old Montreal! That was like Old Montreal Disney land. It was insane!
Outremont had a great neighbourhood feel.
There aren't a lot of houses for sale right now but there is this 3rd floor walk-up apartment that I thought was a really good deal. It is only 2 bedrooms but looks like it could be 3 if you got rid of the office. It is only 1 bathroom but it is a very interesting bathroom! I like everything about this place! The floors, the doors, the light, the IKEA kitchen, the huge deck!
The price is $588,000!
Even though it is a walk up, this is a good investment.
