If this house were priced a little lower, this is what it would look like in a year...
But this house is priced at $1,499,000 and there is no sense in tearing it down to get to a $2.05MM house.
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house that sits on a 30 x 145 foot lot.
Though the listing says this house has been extensively renovated, I don't think much has been done recently other than the floors maybe and the kitchen in the basement, and maybe the windows. I like how the owners have kept a lot of the old charm but there are things I would want to change.
The paint is the easiest. For me, this house is just too dark. And the kitchen could be changed to take advantage of that big empty space. It has been a while too since I have seen black appliances! It is too bad the built-ins in the living room are on an angle because those could be great once painted out...if they were symmetrical.
I wish I could see what was going on through that big hallway wall that is partly in the kitchen. Is that a mudroom? That would be a plus!
This house is a good size, not large but a good size. It isn't completely up to date but it is charming. And if you are into pools, this backyard is pretty great.
Thinking the price might be a little high though. Maybe closer to $1,399,000...$1,425,000 tops. Then again, people can be crazy about Leaside! Not to mention that backyard...
