221 Cortleigh Boulevard - LYTTON PARK

This is a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 43 x 134 foot lot.

It's nice to see that this house has been renovated as opposed to torn down!

This house was for sale in March 2011 for $1,749,000 before they dropped it to $1,695,000 a few weeks later.  The owner of the house is a designer and according to the listing, the renovated interior was complete in 2012.

The house was sold last year with the Gordon Ridgely designed extension so that isn't new but I am guessing that the kitchen is new.

I love that kitchen and I like that it overlooks the breakfast area and family room but still remains its own space.

Hopefully there is a door from the dining room to the kitchen though because the sink is right THERE at the door and the glass in the sink is distracting in the listing photo let alone a whole party's worth of dishes!!

But I really, really love that kitchen regardless of where the sink is.

I wish I could see what is going on around the corner from the sink.  I suppose it is the entryway from the front hall but is there also a mudroom there with an entry from the side?  That would be a big plus.  The old listing says there is a powder room.

The wardrobe in the master look like a customized IKEA Pax closet. (Yes, that just made me think of Angelina Jolie.)

The bedrooms are all a good size and there is the attic bedroom that could easily become a kids family room.

The bathrooms look like they are new.

The basement is done and they have used concrete instead of engineered wood or carpet.  I am assuming there is radiant heat in those floors.

This house is large. There is a garage and parking for 5 cars.

This house is DONE.

The listing price is $2,375,000*.  Is that too much?

Maybe a little...

That kitchen is amazing and the bathrooms are great but did that all cost $700,000!?! They did dig out the basement...

It's a good house and it won't sit for long.

It might sell for $2,345,000 but I could also see it going for asking.  Do you think they would throw in those hands giving the thumbs up and the guns though?

*listing price corrected to reflect correct price (not $2,395,000)
