24 Henderson Avenue - LITTLE ITALY

The listing for this semi in Little Italy does not show the front of the house but this is what it looked like 3 years ago when the Google streetview car drove by...

Not so great.

I am also not sure if this bar is still there but it looks a little shady and I am not sure I would want to live across the street from it.

I do like the idea of this reno but feel like it could have been done a little bit better.

That open ceiling is not going to be for everyone.  I am not a fan and to me it doesn't look 'loft-like'.  Just unfinished.  I don't mind the plywood in the kitchen ceiling and think that would have been a good way to finish the open area.

I do really like the wood beam in the kitchen but it doesn't do a very good job of  distracting the eye from the massive dents on the stove!!  Or the cheap sink and faucet.

The bathroom is a good size but the house is a 2 bedroom because of it.  It isn't a very big house though and 3 bedrooms probably wouldn't make sense anyhow.  From the size of the lot, 13.75 x 70, it seems as though any backyard would be tiny as well.  It is probably just big enough for the parking spot.

The listing says that the basement is partially finished but the access seems to be closed off so not sure what is going on there.  The listing also says 2 bathrooms but there is only one in the photos.

This house has been on the market for a couple of weeks. It was initially listed at $659,900 but the price has been dropped to $647,000.

The place is done (if you like the open ceiling), has parking, is close to College Street, but I think it is a little high. It is only 2 bedrooms and there must be no yard.

I think high low $6s would make more sense.  Maybe $613,000.
