51 Roxborough Drive - ROSEDALE (UPDATE)
If you have ever driven down Mt. Pleasant or walked through the ravine system towards the Brick Works, then you have probably wondered what this house looked like inside.
But only if the curtains were down when you went past because this house is ALL glass and sits right beside a park. It is surrounded by many trees but it is still possible to see inside.
It was designed in 1974 by Barton Myers who was also the architect behind his own 1970's residence at 19 Berryman Street.
Here are the pictures of Myer's current residence in Montecito, California...
And here he is talking about a similar project also in Montecito...
Clearly, this house called 'Wolf House' is a very unique Toronto home built by an architect with a LOT of awards.
The style is as current today as it was 38 years ago. Even the furniture is the same...
This house is 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sits on a 37.5 x 166 foot lot.
It is listed at $6,500,000.
Interesting. I have always wondered what this would be priced at when it finally went up for sale. This is higher than I would have thought.
I am not sure what it sold for but the house down the street at 67 Roxborough Drive was listed at $3,195,000 in May.
It wasn't on the market for even a week so I am guessing it went for at least asking...
So, the price for this house might be a little high but it isn't far off.
Maybe just a million or so too high.....(it's the proximity to Mt. Pleasant).
UPDATE: I have included a walk through tour and floor plans.
