619 Avenue Road - 502 - DEER PARK
If you like walnut then you will love this 1,734 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo located in The Lonsdale on Avenue Road.
According to the listing, $800,000 in improvements designed by the Jill Greaves Design were made to this place and it is listed at $1,295,000. Did it only cost $495,000 to buy?
Is the rest of the building full of $495,000 condos?
That lobby was done in 2011 but it is a bit dark, don't you think?
The apartment is also dark but it looks really good. Personally, I love walnut so I love this place. It only feels like too much in the entryway. I can handle it everywhere else though. In fact, I really like all of it (unlike the brown walls and tile in the lobby).
Though the wood in his apartment isn't walnut and the place isn't nearly as large or expensive ($16 million!), there is something about this apartment that reminds me of Harrison Ford's NYC apartment that he had listed a couple of years ago...
The view or this place isn't as impressive as view in the photos of Harrison Ford's apartment above, and it may not be the best being North-West facing and looking right into the other building, but it is still a good view. I doubt there will be a lot of high rises going up around it or at least close enough to block the view it does have.
When compared to the the condo in my last post at 25 Scrivener Square, if you aren't picky about not having the Summmerhill location and have $346,000 more to spend, then this is a good option. It has one less bedroom/ office and the condo fees are a little more at $1,489,47/month but that includes valet parking! Nice touch.
