Alfred Sung has sold his house!!!
If you don't know who Alfred Sung is, well, then you probably weren't in Toronto in the 80s. In 1980 he partnered with Saul and Joe Mimran (of Joe Fresh) and launched the Alfred Sung brand which is still going strong. They then started Club Monaco in 1985 which was later sold to Polo Ralph Lauren in 1999.
If you remember Club Monaco from the 80s, there were a lot of crests
....and johdpurs.
There are no johdpurs in Sung's house but there is a lot of gold and plaid....and a lot of crests.
The house itself is a typical new build which I was a little surprised by. It is 4+2 bedrooms, 7 washrooms and sits on a 50 x 135 lot.
It was listed originally in May 2012 for $2,750,000. It was only on the market for a week or so when it was taken off.
It was listed again at the beginning of August for $2,750,000 and sold on Wednesday for $2,500,000.
Wonder where he is moving to. Maybe the Cabbagetown house. His style and furniture is what that house wanted to be...
