27 Wells Hill Avenue - CASA LOMA
This house was listed last June for $1,595,000. I am not sure what it sold for but considering that a house down the street at 39 Wells Hill sold for $1,375,000 last January, this house probably went for list or a little higher.
It has since been flipped. It is a 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom home on a 30 x 161.63 foot lot and it is listed at $2,749,000.
It's not the kind of flip that kept any original elements of the house. It basically looks like a typical new build on the inside which is unfortunate but it is nice. What is up with that fireplace though!?! I do not like that AT ALL.
I am not a fan of the front hall tile but it could be worse. And I am not crazy about the kitchen granite either.
As far as the kitchen goes, it is nice, typical flip...but why would they build a vent hood for a 6 burner stove and then only put in the 4 burner? That doesn't make sense. That kitchen should have a 6 burner.
I also think that the person that built this house does not do laundry or they would have put the washer/dryer side by side. There is a reason it is 'washer/dryer', not washer and dryer. They need to be right beside each other.
All in all, this is a good large house with nice floors and an impressive kitchen, minus the stove. I am assuming that they built out which gives lots of family room space but there is no separate dining room. The bedrooms are big, the bathrooms are good...
But in this neighbourhood, with the opportunity to make a beautiful old home more beautiful without making it look like a new build on the inside...
It will probably be hard to sell at this price.
I am thinking more $2,349,000, at the most.
