4 Paulson Avenue - GREENHILLS

I don't know a lot about this area but a reader (thanks Rob!) sent this in and I thought it was worth posting.

I don't know if it is the interesting exterior, the summer kitchen in the basement that opens to the patio and pool or the awesome stair case that made me think of the Toronto Reference Library!

The builders of this house used brown glass for the railings instead of the smooth white though.

The stairs also made me think of the stairs in the loft at 62 Claremont in Trinity-Bellwoods.

It will cost a lot of money to get the stairs of this house more up to date though!

This house is actually quite dated but with the right paint colours and furniture, fixed up stairs, updated bathrooms and perhaps a new kitchen, it could be amazing!

It is 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and sits on a 100 x 232 foot ravine lot.

As I mentioned, I don't know a lot about the area.  The houses look like a mix or old and new and big and small.

If you want transit, it is located close to Keele and Eglinton but it also seems to be close to a lot of industrial and low income rentals.

This house is listed at $1,995,000.

There are a lot of other options in this city for that amount of money.

But if you want 6 bedrooms, lots of outdoor space and perhaps a location close-ish to downtown but also near the highways, this might be perfect.  Even though it is dated, this house would probably cost almost twice as much if it were located in Saint Andrew's  at York Mills and Yonge!

Not quite the same location though and I think it has too much updating to sell that high.  Maybe more like $1,795,000.

It is a pretty amazing lot and those stairs could be great!

Would you keep the intercom system in the kitchen?  Or is that a radio.

What about that Arizona wall in the basement?  That might need to be keeper.
