69 De Grassi Street - LESLIEVILLE

This isn't a huge house in Leslieville but it is a good location near Queen and Jimmie Simpson park.

It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on a 14.83 x 60 foot lot.  With only 60 feet there is barely a yard and there is no parking.  That looks like it might be an issue on this street.

But other than the parking, there isn't really anything bad to say about this place.

I can't figure out if I like that post in the middle of the open area but it looks like it has electricals in it.  Maybe it was too expensive to move.  I do like the looks of it though when you are in the living room looking at the stairs.

Normally I am not crazy about diagonal floors but for some reason, in this colour, I don't mind it at all.  I think I actually prefer it.  With that interesting post thing with the wood wrapped around it, I think straight planks on the floors would have been too much.

I am not sure I love the 2 tone stairs but I like the style.  I really like how they incorporated that fireplace in the dining room too!

The kitchen as well as the closets in the master are IKEA which I am good with.   The kitchen has a good layout and is bright.

The second floor has a skylight and I love those sliding doors.  The carpet looks new and not disgusting at all.  The basement doesn't look massive but it is functional.  I can't find any pictures of the bathrooms but I imagine they are just as good as the rest of the house.

It is listed at $598,900.

It has been listed for over 2 weeks now but considering that the weird semi at 87 De Grassi down the street sold a month ago for $629,000, I am surprised this place hasn't sold yet.  Are the washrooms terrible?Otherwise I can't explain it.

Neither have parking, they are both 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms...

The basement and backyard of this house are smaller but I prefer this backyard and style of this house.  The fireplaces are also included (too bad the Moroccan pendant light in the dining room isn't).

If this doesn't sell for asking soon, it will only sell for a few thousand under.
