This 3 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 6,000 square foot house at 115 Gill Cove Road located just south of Halifax in Ketch Harbour is the opposite of the Nova Scotia house I posted earlier today.
Though that place makes you think of a horse drawn carriage, this place makes me feel like this is the way you would arrive at this house...
Except this house wasn't built in 1977.
This is a new build and it was done by the New York architectural firm Alexander Gorlin and Associates.
They have some impressive work though this isn't my favourite. Perhaps it is the lack of art or furniture. I do love that dining room table though!
Not so crazy about the kitchen. For a house that costs $6,700,000, you would think it would be bigger, or have more storage space. Maybe it is deceiving. I am also not a fan of that washroom.
This place is definitely impressive but to me it looks like a bit of a fortress. It sits on 40 acres of land and has 1640 feet of waterfront. Even though there is in-floor heating, this place must be REALLY freaking cold in the winter.
I think if you wanted to get out of here in the winter, this would be the only way...
But maybe on Cross Country skis instead.
