180 Lee Avenue - BEACHES

I am having a hard time figuring out the first floor plan of this 3,847 square foot, 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house in the Beaches.

Don't get me wrong. This is a really good house but it seems like there are walls that don't need to be there. Like the wall between the kitchen and dining room. As I said, it is hard to figure out but I think I would have taken that wall out and made the dining room the family room and made that family room that is right beside the living room into the dining room.

It's all just weird but the house is done well. I don't love the front door or the windows but they are new. I like the kitchen windows though and the kitchen itself is really good but I am not sure if it is new. This house was listed in 2009 for $1,089,000. That listing says that the kitchen is renovated so I am not sure if this kitchen is new since then. But the bathrooms seem like they might be new.

The basement which is not updated except for the floor has a separate entrance nanny suite or apartment and FOUR computer screens. What is up with that?

There is 2 car front pad parking, the backyard isn't large and has no grass but it is done nicely. Plus, this house is around the corner from the Beaches Rec Centre.

This house is listed at $1,499,900.

Even though this house offers a lot, has a good location, and it is done, my first reaction was that this was a lot, especially considering that messed up first floor layout....

It confuses me.

This is a $1,350,000 house.

Maybe $1,389,900 if the first floor doesn't bother you.
