It is listed at $899,900.
For Danforth Village, that is a bit pricey. Plus, there is no dining room. But I really like this reno.
There is a basement apartment with a separate entrance which is a plus but if you wanted to use it as a family room, there is no entrance from inside the house. Not a plus.
I love the kitchen, and if there was a dining room, I would love that breakfast area. But that is the breakfast, lunch and dinner area so it is a bit annoying.
I really like the kitchen and I am okay with the fridge being around the corner.
The bedrooms on the second floor are a good size. The master suite on the third floor is big as well. The bathroom is open to the bedroom but has pocket doors to make it private (this is the way to do it!).
The whole house is really good. It's just too bad about that dining room and only outside access to the basement.
Clearly, if this house has been listed since September, it is over priced. But what should it be? It's only 3 bedrooms and it isn't huge.
Perhaps $759,000 would be better but that seems a little low. I would say $799,000 tops. But it looks like they are holding out for more. Unfortunately, even though I like the style of the reno, it isn't big enough for the asking price.
