It looks recently renovated and they did a good job. I like islands with seating, especially for families, but I like the separation of the kitchen and dining room here. It is open yet still separate.
There is a french door walk out to the deck and a side door to the basement or kitchen. It's hard to tell if there is a mud room in the basement but if there isn't, a bench with hooks could be added under the stairs which is great for families.
I am not sure what is going on with that pioneer village basement room though.
But all around, this is a really great house. The neighbourhood is nice, it is close to transit, the school might not be the best but I suspect it will improve. And I believe the cost of houses in this neighbourhood will start going up as people get outpriced from Riverdale and the Beaches near the water.
So, with an asking price of $799,900, I was surprised to see the selling price.
This house took 3 weeks to sell and it sold under asking....

In 3 years, the new owners of this house will be happy because this neighbourhood is only going to go up.
