Just because this is a duplex doesn't mean these listing photos need to be so terrible.

This is a streetview shot of this 6+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 150.83 foot lot in Forest Hill.

And it doesn't look so bad.  I have no idea what they are doing with that concrete stuff on the front yard, but if this house were fixed up like the house beside it....

This house could be pretty great.

But I don't think it will sell at the current asking price.

This house is listed at $1,850,000.

Three years ago, this house was listed at $1,650,000 until it was dropped 2 times and finally listed at $1,525,000.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but my guess is that they haven't done much with it...except for that terrible stuff on the front yard.

But as the listing points out, this lot is 'potentially severable'.  

So, is this going to be bought as is for a duplex, is someone going to renovate it back to a family home, or is this going to become two great townhouses?

At the current price, it isn't going to be anything but with $200,000 off the current asking price, this will probably become townhouses.
