I really like this place at 1616 Ch. des Berges-de-l'Est on Lac Saint-Victor in Wentworth-Nord.

It isn't your typical cottage/chalet/country house or whatever you want to call it.

It is 5 bedrooms (2 of which are in the guest house), 5 bathrooms (1 in the guest house) on 12 acres of land with 1,000 feet of water frontage.

I like the stone fireplace.  Not sure I love the all stainless steel kitchen but I like how it can be open or closed off to the dining area.  And that bar thing in between is really functional.

Even though the sandstone floors (imported from India) are geothermally heated, I would still want some more rugs on them.  It would just make it a little more cozy.  And maybe a little less leather furniture.

Of course the sliding doors opening the place up to the outside are amazing.  And the deck is good.

This place is listed at $2,985,000.

For a private place with this much space, with lots of water frontage, part way between Montreal and Tremblant, I will be  curious to see if it sells soon, especially after a price drop from its original listing of $3,250,000.

Or is it still too much?
