22 Belmont Street - YORKVILLE
Yesterday, I posted a house at 18 Belmont Street. It was just listed yesterday for $939,000.
And the pictures for that listing were from 1996!!!
No joke.
Like one of the commentors, I was really confused for a while becuase I kept thinking it was this house that was first listed last February for $1,250,000. They look a LOT alike (it's the fricking ivy that can no longer be contained) but they are definitely 2 different houses.
And besides, the pictures for this listing were taken in the 80s, not the 90s (actually they were probably taken last year but with the grey, yellow, and mirrow wall, they LOOK like they could have been from the 80s).
This place didn't sell in February so they dropped the price in March to $1,150,000.
Again it didn't sell (I swear I posted this house but I guess not) and they dropped the price again in October to $1,095,000.
It still hasn't sold and as of today, it is back on the market (unless of course it has been on the market the whole time and I just didn't notice)...
For $1,095,000.
They are probably both overpriced (hard to tell from these pictures).
But if they do go for their asking prices, I would be really happy if I was the person who bought the house one street north at 23 Hillsboro Avenue for $785,000, regardless of the settling at the back and the work that needs to be done to the washroom!
