The stone in the back could maybe use a power wash but otherwise, the deck is big and welcoming.
Inside, this house is done. I like that they kept the fireplace as it is. The kitchen is large with lots of storage, counter space, 2 sinks and counter seating. And they have Pellegrino!
I don't love the floors, or the hard wood in the bathroom, but I could overlook that.
I am not usually a fan of exposed brick but I really like it in this space. It works really well with the open shelves and as a wall to the basement. Speaking of the basement, it is huge. That couch is huge. The whole space is really inviting.
Upstairs, the rooms are a good size. There is lots of storage in the large master and there is that loft space above.
This house is listed at $749,000.
It might not be everyone's ideal neighbourhood but it is one that is picking up. The street is very nice....everyone's house looks really well looked after.
And if this house at 361 Rhodes can sell for $545,000, this house can EASILY sell for its asking.
This house was last listed in 2008 for $585,000. It seems as though the kitchen and bathroom had already been done so these current owners didn't do exstensive work but I think they definitely did make some changes, like that kitchen island which helps update the space.
I am not sure what it sold for then but I can say that even if it was close to asking then, it won't be close to asking now.
I think this house will sell closer to $825,000...maybe $845,000.
This one isn't sitting for long.
