UPDATE - 262 Bessborough Drive - LEASIDE
Thing is, it is conditional until May.
Part of this reason is that the new owner has decided this house, though historically beautiful, is not worth keeping and they are dividing up the land.
Their proposal is to split the property into 3 lots (instead of the 4 lot split I suggested).
And though this house looks like it hasn't been touched in a LONG time, resident and agents (check out the post at Toronto Realty Blog) are freaking out about this. There is even a Public Meeting going on right now to talk about it...
WHY?
This house is not worth it even if it was a 'Lea' home! No one in their right mind is buying this to restore.
Let the developer split the lot.
This is Leaside we are talking about....the land of new builds.
So...wonder what is going on at the meeting?
