125 Macpherson Avenue - SUMMERHILL
Who knew?
There is a huge addition at the back of this house! And I really like everything they have done.
At first, with the blue and brown, it seems as though this is a male only house but I thought otherwise when I saw this pillow...
Then I saw this....
And I went back to thinking this was a male only household (words blurred for family viewing!).
I love this house a lot. The kitchen is dark but with the white walls and light floors, it looks amazing. I love the kitchen stools, the blue velvet couch...the MASSIVE picture callage frame.
I love the bathrooms though I am not sure why they didn't do a walk-through closet into that middle bathroom to make it more private. And I am not sure about that toilet in front of the window. You can still see shadows even if the glass is frosted.
But this is a great 2+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on an 18.75 x 120 foot lott hat is done in a great location with 2 parking spots (which is a big plus on this street).
Thing is, it is only 2 bedrooms...
And the price tag is $2,195,000!
That is HIGH!
It was last listed in August 2011 for $899,000.
If they paid that, I can see the addition and the finishes being expensive
But $2.2!?!
That is REALLY high.
Especially considering the house at 218 Cottingham Avenue just on the other side of Avenue Road sold for $1,490,000 in June. It was also a semi with 2+1 bedroom but one less bathroom.
But this reno is more recent.
I could see someone loving this place and paying $1.655....maybe even $1.75.
But not $2.2....
Unless it came with the art.
And a case of Perrier.
