When I saw that asking price and sales price, I first thought of the house at 51 Armstrong Avenue in Bloordale that was listed at $419,900 and sold for $625,000. That was clearly a bidding war and t got me thinking about whether this pricing strategy was also looking for a bidding war.
But I don't think it was. I think this was a pleasant surprise for the owners.
And it makes the $1,055,000 sales price of the fully detached house with 2 car parking at 5 1/2 Mackenzie just on the other side of Dundas seem like a deal!
P.S. What is the story with the house down the street with all the Chrysler 300s and Cadillacs!?!
