632 Wellington Street West - NIAGARA

If you are looking for a house in Niagara, this is a pretty good option.

It is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on a 12.79 x 50 foot lot.  So, it is pretty narrow but it is a really good house.  According to the listing, it was built in 1880 and was an Officer Barrack/house for Old Fort York.

The exterior colour is pretty dark and reminds me of the house at 58 Annette Street in the Junction.

The inside of this house is a little too dark for me but it doesn't have to be.  There is a lot of green going on, including the kitchen counter.  That might not be for everyone but that could be changed.

The rooms on the second floor are bright and the bathrooms are done.  Because it isn't big, the 2 rooms are separated not by a hallway but by stairs and it feels kind of tight.  But I kind of like that!

The third floor bedroom is a little dark but lighter paint might brighten it up.

And there is that backyard.  It isn't huge but it's bigger than any 3 bedrooms condo balcony you could find in this neighbourhood for this price!

This house is listed at $629,900.

It won't sit for long.  It is unique.  It's in a great location.  And the basement is partially finished.  There is no parking but the person interested in this house probably doesn't have a car anyhow.

I think this house will sell closer to $645,000.  Unless the no dining room thing is an issue but I don't think it will be.

Any guesses as to what that guy's dog in the video below looks like?  I am thinking this....

But probably more like this...
