And it went for....

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 25 x 100 foot lot at 101 Wineva Avenue in the Beaches has been on the market for a while.

It was first listed in November 2012 for $1,229,000 but I didn't post it until the end of January when the price had been dropped to $1,099,000.

It's a good house but could use updating.  I thought that even though the price was a little high, it would sell fast based on the location just south of Queen.

But it didn't sell and a similar sized house a few streets over at 10 Selwood Avenue sold instead for $1,168,000

This house still didn't sell and a few weeks after the Selwood sale, they dropped the price to $1,059,000.

I thought it would go fast.

It didn't and the price was dropped again on April 3rd to $999,000.

Finally, it sold...on April 3rd.....for $999,000.

I wonder if they are going to keep the backsplash.
