This 5+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi on a 19 x 130 foot lot just north of College was last listed in 2007 for $859,000.
I am not sure what happened but, if it did sell then, the new owners decided to keep this decal painting (if that is what you call it, the listing says it is an original oil painting)...
Theses are the listing photos from 2007...
And not a lot has changed.
The floors have been stained darker and the kitchen has been redone but it definitely has a box store feel. And I think the bathroom was redone.
They seem to have updated the basement apartment as well.
Otherwise, my guess is a lot hasn't changed.
Except the asking price.
The asking price for this semi was $1,395,000.
It is large, it has a basement apartment that brings in $1,100/month, there is a 2 storey garage with potential for a studio.....
But $1.4 million!?!
I would have thought this house would have sold for mid $1.2s.
After 2 weeks, this house sold...
For $1,345,000.
So.....do you think this thing is staying?
