It is a good house but it has its quirks.
The inside has been renovated but I am not really sure what is going on with that kitchen. I feel like it should have been fully open concept or completely closed off (maybe it's just me).
It's like they didn't want to lose cupboard space or something. But if they did the storage against the wall under the stairs and did an island instead, it would have flowed better and they might have actually ended up with more storage space.
But, really, it is still a good kitchen though a little tight.
Upstairs has good sized rooms and I like the retro bathroom. It doesn't always have to be brand new!
And the basement is done as an apartment with a separate entrance.
The backyard is fine but could be great with a little work by someone who wanted to spend some time on the garden.
Basically, all around, this is a good house with a detached garage and parking for one spot.
It was listed at $639,000.
I would have thought this would have gone over. Maybe low 7s but not much higher because of that tandem office overhang thing on the second floor on the back that was also happening in the Casa Loma house at 70 Hilton Avenue and I wasn't a fan....
But that didn't seem to bother the new owners because this house sold in 9 days...
For $746,247.
About $20,000 higher than I thought it would sell for.
