190 Lowther Avenue - ANNEX

Like the Summerhill house at 43 Alcorn Avenue that is owned by designer and store owner of L'Atélier, Youssef Hasbani, I was NOT expecting to like what I saw inside.

But like that house, I was more than pleasantly surprised.

This is a 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom freehold condo on a 16 x 58 foot lot with a garage and one parking spot.

Here is what the adjoining places look like...

Not so bad...

And sure, the backyard is small but it is a downtown yard.

Also, this house isn't the best from the outside, but the inside has been completely updated and it is good.

It's bright, the bedrooms are a really good size, there is a 'basement'....

And I really love the white walls with blue ceiling in the nursery!

Not sure if those railings are very safe for kids but that could be an easy fix (I think!).

This house actually reminds me of a cross between the house at 43 Alcorn Avenue and the house at 25 Rathnelly Avenue.  Both of those houses were 3 bedrooms and they sold for $1,925,000 and $1,565,000 respectively.

I don't think this house is completely comparable, especially since it is a freehold.  It just reminds me of those houses probably because GOOD.

And it is listed at $1,049,000.

So, is this sitting, going for ask, or going over?

I am guessing closer to $1,125,000.

Oh...and as I mentioned in the post about 43 Alcorn, Hasbani was probably downsizing which would mean some of that stuff was going to end up at L'Atélier....and funny enough, I was in the neighbourhood a few weeks ago and saw 2 guys carrying a few of those masks around the corner to the store.....
