There is something about this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 50 x 110 foot lot that I really like.

This isn't typically the type of house I am into because of all the dark wood but there is something about it.  

I really like that they haven't touched the wood.  I love the floors.  The bench in the front hall is amazing ...

And so is the couch in the family room...

And this sculpture on the stairs...

And even though they are a bit strange...

There is something about those chocolate dipped Dairy Queen bannisters that I love!

This house is a good size with lots of bedrooms (though they aren't huge) and a great feel to it though I wish there was a floor plan.  It kind of feels like the master takes up half of the bedroom space.  Perhaps if you had more kids, it would make more sense to use that family room as another bedroom and move the family room to the top floor.  Expecially if there is no washroom up there.

The basement is done with nice built-ins like the rest of the hosue.  And clearly the person who lives here has a thing for the Lovell Design baskets...

Because there are a LOT of them!!!

And the kitchen...though it isn't my favourite with the fancy post by the stove (what is the word for those) and other frilly things, it is large with an eating area and the style kind of suits the traditional but not traditional style of the house.

This house is listed at $3,249,000.

Is it enough house for that price tag?

It might be tough.

If the totally done house at 43 Glenayr Road that has bigger bedrooms and a bigger yard is having a hard time selling for $3,679,900...

Being a corner lot and having not huge kids rooms, this might have a hard time at $3,249,000.

Even though I love this house....I'm thinking more $2,695,000.

Maybe $2,795,000.
