93 Maplewood Avenue - HUMEWOOD

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi in Humewood that, according to Homefinder, sits on a 16.6700000762939ft x 94.5ft...

Or, if you want to round down.......16.67 x 94.5 feet.

That isn't a huge lot but it isn't tiny.

Inside, the house has been completely redone.  It's bright and open and has some interesting wood details.  Like the house at 222 Shaw Street, I think I would prefer it if the interior of the front door was painted black, but it is fine white.  I just find these doors look cheap when they are white but the all white suits the interior here, it's just too bad about the door.

The kitchen is IKEA but for those not into IKEA, you have to admit that it looks good.  It is spacious and there is lots of room for storage.

The rooms upstairs are big but the bathroom is a bit of a squeeze.

Good thing there is another one in the basement with a shower.  The basement has been dug down but it has lost a bit of floor space but there is still plenty of room for a family room or play room.  All that white is a bit migraine inducing though.

Basically, this is a great house and the only problem here is that it doesn't have parking.

It was last listed in 2010 for $529,000.  Here is the listing description...

What A Perfect Gem! Just Move In And Enjoy! Prime Area. Open Concept. Georgous Maple Kitchen. Lovely New York Backyard. Tasteful Decoration And Reno Throughout. Upgrades: Complete Insulation 2005, New Lighting 2008, New Kitchen Granite Counters 2010, Crown Mouldings, Wainscotting. Central Air 2008.New Roof 2009.**** EXTRAS **** Stainless Stove, Fridges, Dishwasher. Washer, Dryer, All Elfs,Window Coverings.

So, it is hard to tell what changes have been made but for sure the cupboards and I assume quite a few other things, otherwise, there wouldn't be 3 permits in the windows in 2011...

This is a great house that is completely done in a good area.

And the asking price is $639,900.

If the house at 506 Rushton Road that was detached but needed a LOT of work sold for $635,000...I don't see why this wouldn't sell for ask, if not a little higher.

Maybe $645,000.

It's just that parking thing...
