8080 Hornby Road - HALTON HILLS
This is a 3+2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 5,000 square foot house on a 144 x 321.75 (or 1.99 acres) in Hornby in the Halton Hills.
It's not a typical house that I post but the listing really caught my attention...

And it is only a 'hop away from the 401'!

Then I looked at the house, and the dining room reminded me of Little Miss Sunshine...
And the kitchen reminded me of John and Kate's first kitchen (but I NEVER watched that show).
But mostly...
It reminded me of a house in Niagara-on-the-Lake that a reader sent in (thanks L!).
It's was a similar house (sort of) but the owners, Tamara Woolgar, owner of Prairie Ink PR, and Dave Suydam, president of Architech, a software company, bought the place, along with the vineyard, after moving away from Toronto and did a complete overhaul (apparently for under $500,000).

So, do you think it is worth it to do the same thing here?
Probably not.
I am pretty sure that farm land doesn't come with the house like the vineyard that came with the Niagara-on-the-Lake house.
And the neighbours are kind of close.
But for $799,900, you do get a house with 3 family rooms and a huge backyard!
Oh! And this...
