PRICE DROP - 619 Clinton Street - SEATON VILLAGE
About a week and a half ago, I posted this 4+2 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 20.5 x 125.5 foot lot with 3 parking spots and a garage in Seaton Village.
Sounds pretty good, right?
Well, this is what it looked like a 2 years ago when it was listed at $495,000...
I am not sure if it sold then, but if it did, that buyer was pretty smart because this house was listed again, 7 months later, for $869,000. It sat for a while so it didn't go for that price but I am sure it went a lot higher than $500,000!
And instead of a tear down, that new owner did a rebuild.
Nine months later it was listed again for $1,299,000 and this is what it looked like...

My reaction was....
Unsurprisingly, it didn't sell.
The house has subsequently been finished is now basically a duplex but being sold as a single family home.
It was listed in May and the asking price was $1,558,000.
There was no WAY it was going to sell for that price.
So, just over a week after I posted it, the price has been dropped.
This house is now listed at...
$1,499,000.
And my thought?
Right idea with the drop but still...
