PRICE DROP - 11 Ridgewood Road - FOREST HILL
There are currently 4 houses on this small dead end street in Forest Hill that are for sale.
And a few of them have been sitting for a long time!
In fact, one house that is located just 2 doors down from this house at 15 Ridgewood Road has had 18 price drops.
EIGHTEEN!!!!
The house at 17 Ridgewood that had been listed in March 2012 for $2,300,000, then was relisted in November for $2,890,000, is no longer on the market but I am pretty sure it never sold. (Ummm...if it didn't sell in the spring, it wasn't going to sell for half a million more in the fall!!!)
This house at 11 Ridgewood Road was first listed in February 2013 for $2,495,000.
It needs a LOT of work.
Though it kind of makes sense so you don't have to bend down...
Have you ever seen a dishwasher that is located halfway up the wall!?!
The house never sold and the price was dropped in April to $2,299,000.
Still no sale and, last week, the price was dropped again...
To $2,279,000.
Even if I was interested in this house, its odd location off Bathurst and not really in Forest Hill, not to mention the proximity to the Bathurst bridge...
I would be a little concerned about the fact that 4 houses have been listed on this street for a LOOONG time.
This could be a pretty great house on a ravine lot, but even if it was completely redone, is it a $3 Million+ house?
