This 7 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi on a 20 x 120 foot lot with 2 parking spaces has been on the market since June.

It needs a lot of work as you can see from the bathroom...

And whatever this thing is (seriously, what is it?)...

Not to mention the odd stair layout pointed out by a reader.

It was listed at $1,293,000.

Sounds crazy but when you consider that the house at 426 Euclid Avenue sold for $1,345,000...

The price doesn't seem so outrageous, except this house needs more work.

 It hasn't sold.

The price has now been dropped...

To $1,199,000.

Still too much?

The similar sized, completely renovated house at 140 Crawford Steet did sell for $1,600,000 last spring.

But this house needs at least $400,000 to bring it up to par.

So, it will probably see another drop.
