AND IT WENT FOR - 11 Brookfield Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE

On Monday, I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathoom row house on a 16.67 x 125 foot lot at 11 Brookfield Street in Beaconsfield Village.

It was a bright house that was move right in, but could use work if you wanted to update the kitchen.

Some readers complained about the proximity to the restaurant/swinger's club just a few doors down that I mentioned in the post about the neighbour at 7 Brookfield Street that had a hard time selling in the low $6s.

But it was closer to the club, was beside a lane, and was generally not nearly as in good shape as this house.

This house was listed at $629,900.

I thought it could sell for $729,000...maybe even $745,000.

It sold...

For $770,000.

Guess the rumours of the club on the corner getting closed might be true after all!  Too bad.  I hear they had great New Year's Eve parties.
