First off, my apologies for the lack of posts today but like Cameron in Ferris Bueller' Day Off...

I am not feeling awesome.

But that won't stop me from posting this house.

Like Cameron Frye's house...

This house sits in the trees. 

And if you have ever driven north or south on Mt. Pleasant between Bloor and St. Clair, you have noticed this house.  

Because, unlike Cameron Frye's house, this house is basically located right on top of a very busy, highway like portion of Mt. Pleasant...

It was built about 6 years ago and because the outside looks good (and of course its location), I have always wondered what it looked like inside.

I have to say, it is not what I expected.

It doesn't feel as big as I thought it would and there is more of a new build feel than I would have thought.  That kitchen isn't helping.

Speaking of the kitchen...it might have been a good idea to remove what looks like ant traps before taking the photos...

And another...

This is a 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 45 x 111 foot lot.

After it was built in 2007, it was listed for $1,795,000.  I am not sure what it sold for.

Because of the location and the fact that the house feels a little dated even though it is only 6 years old, I wouldn't have thought it would be listed much higher than the 2007 asking price.

But it is.

This house is now listed at $2,499,000.
