FORMER EL MOCAMBO OWNER LISTS HOUSE! - 208 Dunn Avenue - PARKDALE (UPDATE)

This is a 6+4 bedroom, 4 bedroom house on a 51.67 x 163 foot lot between King and Queen in Parkdale.

Earlier this morning, a reader (thanks K!) sent in this listing curious about my thoughts.

And...

Well....

Ummm...

This is one of the most interesting listings I have seen in a LONG time.

I have no idea what this house is.  But they LOVE their place settings.  Every room is set up with some sort of cup and candle situation...

And every room has a TON of fake flowers....

Plus, each room has a name like 'Our Lady of Good Health' (aka 'The Kitchen') and Our Lady of Pompeii.

So, though the whole bedroom situation is confusing and the love for cups and place settings has thrown me off...

The listing says that this is the head office for a charity called Serving Charity.  But it is being sold as a possible home, a triplex as there are 3 kitchens, a head office as it is now, an event venue, or as a bed and breakfast.

Actually, there are a lot of similarities between this house and the bed and breakfast at 224 Dovercourt Road in Beaconsfield Village that was listed at $3,750,000 (ridiculous price).

But there is something I like about how this house has been put together (crazy as it sounds!).  There was a LOT of care here.

I just don't understand all the bedrooms for a charity head office, and I don't understand the apparent 70 cameras....

Or this room....

With lots of monitors............I am assuming for the SEVENTY cameras!!!

What are they monitoring!?!

But then I look at the pictures, and everything is so perfect and clean, and as I said before, there is clearly someone who cares A LOT for this house.

I just have no IDEA what this house is.

The asking price is $2,580,000.

UPDATE:  I forgot the video!!!

Who is Abbas Peter Jahangiri!?!

And who is THIS guy from the individual floor videos?

And I forgot to mention, the listing says...

*Most Of The Furniture Can Stay!!!!

Wonder if that includes all the Coca-cola paraphenalia in the basement....

And that bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape!

UPDATE #2:  As per the commentor below (thanks!), the guy in the picture above IS Abbas Peter Jahangiri, former owner of the El Mocambo!!!!
