I like this house.
It reminds me a lot of the house at 337 Cleveland Street in Davisville Village that I think still hasn't sold at $1,565,000.
Unlike that house that had the kitchen at the front of the house and the living room at the back, this house is basically all one room at the back of the house. But I think I prefer that to Cleveland.
There is a lot that I am into in this house. I like the floors, I like the windows, I like the black walls, I like the style of the kitchen, I like the basement and even the walkout to the backyard....
It's a great house....but this house is only 3 bedrooms. And one bedroom doesn't have a proper window. It's a transom window that seems to open up to the roof, but does it actually open?
This is a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 21 x 129.50 foot lot.
It was last listed in May 2011 for $449,000 when it looked like this...
It apparently sold for $530,000. It wasn't a tear down but a rebuild.
It is now listed at $1,398,000.
It's on a fairly busy street and the railing and fence aren't complete in the backyard.
But considering that the 3+2 bedroom, 5 bathroom house around the corner at 71 Morningside Avenue (that, in my opinion, was a big mess) sold for $1,515,000....
This house is a STEAL!
