AND IT WENT FOR - 85 Mortimer Avenue - PLAYTER ESTATES

On Monday, I posted this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom semi on a 17.75 x 132 foot lot with 1 garage and 2 parking spots at 85 Mortimer Avenue in Playter Estates.

It was listed at $499,000.

I thought they were looking for a bidding war.

Even though it was on a busier street and was not in the Jackman school district, the similarily sized houses at 192 Fulton and 986a Logan had both sold for $591,000 and $615,000 respectively.  And that was BEFORE any work was done.

This house was move right in.

No work needed.

I thought it could sell for at least $585,000, less that the other 2 houses sold for before they needed work.

It just sold...

For $###,###.

So, they wanted a bidding war.  They got one.
