That's just a bit bigger than the shack with no running water or toilet at 30 Hanson Street that I posted in August that was soon all over the internet and ended up selling for $165,000...
And it is just a little bit smaller than the garage residence at 178 Lipponcott Street...
And a little bit bigger than the house at 184 Lisgar Street that sold for $385,000...
But unlike any of those residences, this coach house has been completely renovated. And they did a really good job.
Actually, the idea of it kind of reminds me of the coach house at 5 Miles Place that I loved.
But 5 Miles Place was bigger, like almost twice the size (or so it seems) and had a parking spot and a deck.
This house is also nice, just not as large despite the basement unit. They have kept the pine floors which I like (but not as much as the concrete floors at 5 Miles Place) and the main unit is a good, though not large, space. The kitchen is a good size and I like the style. For some reason, I really like that oven. Upstairs is great with a good sized room and a good bathroom (I am not crazy about bevelled tile though, no idea why).
The other unit though is really small, but it is bright.
This coach house was listed at $539,000 which considering that there is no parking and it isn't as big as 5 Miles Place seems like a good price.
It sold...
For $657,000.
Just $5,228 less than Miles Place.
