THE EL MOCAMBO HOUSE HAS A PRICE DROP!

Two days ago, I posted this 8 bedroom (I had counted 6+4), 4 bathroom house on a 51.67 x 163 foot lot at 208 Dunn Avenue in Parkdale.

From the outside, it looks a little rough but the inside has been really well taken care of.

I just don't get what it is.

It is called the 'James Hunter House' (whoever that is).  And as it turns out, it is owned by Abbas Peter Jahangiri, the former owner of the El Mocambo since 2001 who sold the tavern a few years ago.  Apparently, it is his home and the head office for the charity he founded called Serving Charity.

But what's up with all the bedrooms?

And why is there a 70 camera set up!?!

And a room with 6 monitors!!?!!

Ummm...

I guess the cameras could be for security, right?

The asking price on Tuesday was $2,580,000.

As of today...

It is now listed at $1,950,000.

(thanks to the commentor for pointing out the drop!)
