AND IT WENT FOR - 19 Cardiff Road - BROADWAY
I first posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 30 x 104 foot lot at 19 Cardiff Road in the Broadway area in July.
It was listed at $1,499,000, which I thought was low for the area and the size of house.
Then I saw the kitchen...
It was right at the front door!!!!
With a rebuild and so much space, why would you do this layout? And the odd layout is why the price had been $1,689,000 (which would have been the right price if it weren't for the kitchen) in March, only to drop in May to $1,589,000, then $1,499,000 in July.
Last week I realized that the price was dropped again in September to $1,449,000.
Within 20 minutes of posting the recent drop, a commentor posted that it had sold conditionally.
And guess those conditions were met.
This house finally sold...
For $1,350,000.
Or 80% of initally asking.
Something tells me this builder isn't going to repeat this floor plan.
