AND IT WENT FOR - 712 Richmond Street West - NIAGARA

Last week, I posted a row house at 712 Richmond Street West in Niagara.  Though I could't say for certain, I was pretty sure it was a flip done by the same person who did 262 Lisgar Street in Beaconsfield Village.

They had the same paint, the same kitchen, and the same inexplicable brick wall at the stairs.

This house was listed at $949,000.

Because of this, and the fact that this was a row house which does not appeal to a lot of people, I thought it was a little high and that this house would go under ask.

I also thought that it had been listed at $949,900 in January 2012 without a sale, but a commentor claims it sold for $995,000 in April.  

And then the 3 bedroom semi at 705 Richmond Street West across the street sold for $1,341,000.

Clearly a good sign for this house.

And it was.

This house just sold...

For $1,341,000.

No horn tooting today!
