In September, I posted a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 23 x 107 foot lot at 605 Carlaw Avenue overlooking Withrow Park.

It was a livable house, but could also have used a fair amount of work.  

It was listed at $1,095,000 and sold for $1,371,000.

Considering that a house around the corner at 17 Wroxeter Avenue that need work sold for $941,000, I thought this was pretty high.

Last week, this 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 26 x 87.25 foot lot  with a garage (so basically no backyard) at 573 Carlaw Avenue was listed at $899,900.

It basically needs a gut but, it looks like they were hoping for a bidding war.

Since this house sold in only 2 days, not sure they got a bidding war but they didn't need one.

This house sold...

For $1,100,000.
