SOLD - 48 Highview Crescent - REGAL HEIGHTS
The neighbourhood of Regal Heights has been one of those neighbourhoods that had a moment years ago but then seemed to stall for a bit.
And last year, when I posted the completely renovated 5+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom semi on a 26 x 118 foot lot at 31 Highview Crescent that was listed at $1,199,000 and said that it would sell closer to $1,250,000, some readers disagreed. Some even thought it would sell under.
I thought, given some of the crazy prices in Wychwood, that the market would start to move over to Regal Heights and this neighbourhood would be the next in Toronto to start to see increased real estate prices. There are some pretty terrific looking houses!
31 Highview didn't sell for $1,250,000, but it did sell over at $1,201,000.
This house is a 5+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a larger 35 x 118 foot lot. It is detached and it has 3 parking spots with its own driveway, but it is not completely renovated like 31 Highview. In fact, though the house is completely livable with some updates to the faucets and the kitchen, but it could use further updating at some point.
It was listed at $1,229,000.
It's a very solid house in a good neighbourhood. I would have thought it would sell closer to $1,325,000.
It sold...
For $1,422,000.
And....another Toronto neighbourhood bites the dust.
Or maybe it was just the stove.
(thanks C for sending this in!)
