1 Laurier Avenue - CABBAGETOWN
This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 15.83 x 74 foot lot in Cabbagetown.
There is a lot that I do like and a lot that I don't.
I like that they were going for something different. I like the foyer at the front. I like that it is bright...
But there is something about it that also feels claustrophobic. At least that bathroom does to me. And is that carpet everywhere but the kitchen and third floor?
I do like the kitchen, but not the sink placement. And though it makes me claustrophobic, I do like the style of the bathroom.
But the stairs?
They remind me of this...
So yeah. I am not really into them.
And it looks like others haven't been as well because this house has been listed since the end of February with one price drop.
It was frist listed at $1,150,000.
In March, the price was dropped to $1,100,000.
I think it is still too high. It doesn't feel like a huge house, it's on a laneway, and the style won't be for everyone.
I am thinking this will be more of a $985,000 house.
P.S. Is anyone able to figure out what this sentence from the listing is supposed to mean?
